This is hand carved wooden figurine of the Norse god Odin with wooden small altar.
You can also buy the figure of the god Odin separately.
It made of linden tree. The statuette is covered with linseed oil and wax.
Height figurine : 18 centimeters (7,8 inches).
Dimensions of the wooden altar: 9х15х2,5 centimeters (3.5x6x0.8 Inches).

In Norse mythology, from which much of the god's information is derived, Odin is associated with wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, battle, witchcraft, poetry, madness and the ranic alphabet, and is the husband of the goddess Frigg. In wider Germanic mythology and paganism, Odin was known in Old English as Weden, in Old Saxony as Wadan, and in Old High German as Wuotan or Vatan, all deriving from reconstructed Proto-Germanic Theonianaz.
