This is hand carved small wooden Celtic Altar with Belenus, Mannan Mac Lir, Boann, Goibhniu, Creidne and Luchten.
All figurines are approximately 10 centimeters (4 inches) tall.
They are made of linden tree and are covered with linseed oil and wax.
You can buy a set of 6 deities or choose any figurine separately. My listings have a selection of deities in the same size and design.
God MANNAN MAC LIR is probably the most prominent sea deity of Irish mythology and literature. With his sea chariot, horse affiliation, and cloak of invisibility, he guards the underworld and the afterlife, including aspects of the ancient Greek gods Poseidon and Ais
Goddess BOANN (Boand, Boann) - goddess of water, fertility, inspiration and knowledge. Her name is interpreted as "white cow"
God BELENUS and Belenos mean "Shining God". He was worshiped as the "Sun God" by Celts throughout continental Europe, Great Britain and Ireland and is regarded by modern historians as a common Celtic god.
God GOIBHNIU, (Celtic: "Divine Smith", ) Welsh Gofannon, ancient god of the Celtic blacksmith. He was also the purveyor of the sacred otherworldly festival, Beat Goibhnenn; He allegedly brewed a special ale thought to impart immortality to those who drank it.
God CREIDHNE (Credne) was the son of Brigid and Tuireann and the jeweler of the Tuatha Dé Danann. He and his brothers Goibniu and Luchtaine were known as Tre De Deana, the three gods of art who forged the weapons that the Tuatha Dé used to fight the Fomorians. It is said that Creidne made the silver hand of King Nuada together with Dian Cecht.
In Irish mythology,God LUCHTAINE (or Luchta) was the son of the deities Brigid and Tuireann, and was a carpenter or Raith of the Tuatha Dé Danann, a family of Celtic gods in Ireland. He and his brothers Kreidhne (who worked in bronze and brass) and Goibniu (a silversmith) were known as Tre De Deana, three gods of art who forged weapons that the Tuatha Dé used to fight the Fomorians, the giant hostile and monstrous creatures that come from sea or underground to pursue Ireland and its inhabitants.
