This is hand carved wooden small figurine of the Slavic god - Porenut.
It is made of linden wood and coated with linseed oil.
The figurine is approximately 15 centimeters (6 Inches) tall.

God PORENUT is the new reborn sun. Depicted with four heads, and the fifth - the same reborn sun - he held on his chest. Such an image explained the birth of the sun after its annual cycle - rebirth. The Slavs, like other peoples, believed that the sun dies and is reborn every year. Porenut was worshiped by the Baltic and Polabian Slavic tribes.son.
