This is hand carved wooden small figurine of the Slavic deity - Domovoy.
It is made of linden wood and coated with linseed oil.
The figurine is approximately 15 centimeters (6 Inches) tall.

DOMOVOY (or Brownie) with a horn of plenty is a house spirit in Slavic folklore. In Slavic mythology every house is said to have its own house dwarf. Domovoi is a guardian of the house and he sometimes helps with household or field work. It is good to offer Him some milk, bread with salt or cookies to make him happy and he will make happy your home. When you move to another house, offer Him a big shoe, He will hide in it and you can easily remove Domovoi to your new home :)
