Hand-carved wooden statue of Goibhniu, the legendary Celtic smith and one of the divine craftsmen of the Tuatha Dé Danann in Irish mythology. Goibhniu was renowned as a master blacksmith who forged powerful weapons for the gods, making him a symbol of craftsmanship, strength, skill and protection.

Goibhniu was one of the three divine craftsmen of the Tuatha Dé Danann, alongside Luchtaine, the carpenter, and Credne, the metalworker. His exceptional skill at the forge was central to the preparation for the Second Battle of Mag Tuired, where he created weapons known for their extraordinary power and accuracy.

He was also associated with the Feast of Goibniu, where a magical ale was said to preserve the youth and immortality of the gods.

This 15 cm statue is individually hand-carved from natural linden wood. Every detail is carved by hand, giving the figure a powerful, timeless character, while the natural grain of the wood makes each piece unique.
